***MOSQUITO PROTECTION***

Help prevent West Nile with mosquito control aids. We offer safe-effective products that help reduce mosquito populations.

BTI also known as mosquito dunks are used in standing water to control mosquito larvae. BTI is a bacterial product that is safe for use in all waters including bird baths. An effective way to control mosquito larvae where standing water is present.

Growth regulators are another way to keep larvae from becoming breeding-biting adult mosquitoes. Contains the Insect Growth Regulator (s)-Methoprene which is also safe for use in standing water areas such as old tires, rain barrels, water gardens, fountains, or other water holding receptacles.

Surfactant is a great biodegradable product made from renewable plant oils. Surfactant is used on standing water to stop mosquito and midge maturation. The surfactant creates an invisible monomolecular film that quickly spreads over standing water habitats. The film reduces the surface tension of the water making it difficult for mosquito larvae and pupae to attach and causes them to drown.

Adulticide sprays are the answer for adult mosquitoes that have populated an area. Permethrin and Pyrethrin are very common and effective at reducing mosquitoes. Adulticide sprays can be applied in a variety of ways including through automatic insect control systems like our Automist system.
