SYP Wagon Train for Youth Date: 09/16/04 - 09/18/04 Time: 8 am - ongoing City: Farmington State: MN
Please join us for the 21st annual Wagon Train for Youth, held in Farmington, MN at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Hosted by the Dakota County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol, participants in horse-drawn wagons and on horseback are raising funds and awareness for the many programs provided for troubled and at-risk youth. The wagon train will depart each day from the fairgrounds and travel the surrounding area, returning to camp each night. Friday's route includes Castle Rock and Chub Lake Feed. Saturday, the train heads east to U-More Park and environs. A short route on Sunday goes west of the fairgrounds. Please join us as a rider or with your rig for the wagon train, or on Friday evening for a visit to our Dakota City Heritage Village on a candlelight tour. Authenically costumed villagers will highlight the era of the old west. Saturday night a square dance will be held, so grab your pardner and do-si-do on over. A $5 donation will be charged for any outside folks only attending the evening entertainment programs. Thank you for supporting the Sheriff's Youth Programs.
