This is my first letter to all of my fellow Pinto friends as your new queen. I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. I am truly honored to represent such a great organization. It will be very exciting and rewarding to attend all of the upcoming events. I will do my best to make you proud!
The feeling was overwhelming when I was crowned the night of the banquet. And I couldn’t ask for a better royal court!
Abby, it will be difficult to follow in your footsteps. You did such a wonderful job. I think that I speak for many, when I say that you were an inspiration for the youth and are a great role model.
To quote Oprah Winfrey, “Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.” It is important to take one day at a time so that you can appreciate the world around you. And that is what I plan to do as your queen.
